We’re excited to share that Blink’s newest feature, image notification, is now available on Android and iOS devices. Use image notification to see a snapshot from your Blink device without ever opening the app. These snapshots give you a quick glimpse in real time, so you immediately know if you need to open live view for a closer look or if you’d rather review the video later. We’re excited to announce Blink Mini Pan-Tilt, an indoor rotating smart security camera with a 360-degree view, HD day-and-night video, two-way audio and motion detection. It’s also easy to set up. We’re excited to announce our new Snooze Alerts feature, which gives you even more control by allowing you to pause unwanted motion-activated notifications without disarming your device. Choose how long you want to snooze for and, once the time has elapsed, you’ll continue to receive motion alerts as usual. Simply tap the feature on or off as desired for any armed system. While your device is in “Snooze”, it will still record motion-activated clips for you to review at your convenience. Now available on all Blink devices. For added account security, we have released 2-Step Verification (2SV) support using text message or phone call issued verification codes with the latest Blink Home Monitor App versions (Android 6.2.6 and iOS 6.1.5). To take advantage of this feature, enter a valid phone number under Manage Account in your Blink Home Monitor App.  In the coming weeks, Blink customers will be prompted to set up 2SV using a valid phone number. If you don’t have a phone number, please contact Customer Service here.

We are excited to announce a refresh of the Blink app user interface! We’ve heard your feedback, and are excited to share our new look & feel. Look out for the new Blink app version in the coming days.

Here are a few of the key updates we’ve made:

Bottom Bar Navigation

Our bottom panel is now where you can access your system homepages, clip lists, account & system settings, & Neighbor’s app.

The Home icon brings you to the home screen where you can view and access your Blink camera systems (along the top panel bar) and individual cameras. From the home screen you can:

• Arm your camera system by toggling the Disarmed/Armed switch along the bottom of your app.
• Arm/disarm an individual camera, by tapping the running man icon on (blue) or off (gray) once a system is armed.
• Access a camera’s settings  by clicking the three sliding bars icon next to each camera’s name.
• Access your sync module’s status indicator at the bottom of your list of cameras.

The Play Button icon – tap this to access all of your recorded clips in one place. From here, you can filter which cameras or systems you want to see, and even filter the type of event you’re looking for.

The Settings Gear icon brings the settings of your account and systems into one place. Within the system settings, you can:

• Manage your cameras individually
• Arrange which order they appear on your homescreen
• Schedule arm and disarm schedules for your camera systems

The Neighbors icon in the bottom right corner allows you to access the Neighbor’s app.

Adding Cameras or Systems

To add a new camera or camera system, tap the “+” button in the top right corner of your app. From here, you will follow the standard onboarding flow
